Syed Muhammad Hashmi Miyan
(Urdu: سید محمد ہاشمی میاں) is an Indian Sunni Sufi scholar and preacher, popularly known as "Ghazi e Millat" (Warrior of the Community). He has a substantial following among Hindi and Urdu speakers.
Hashmi Miyan is recognized as the youngest son of the revered Muhaddis-e-Azam-e-Hind. He is also the younger brother of Madani Miyan.
Views
Hashmi Miyan has been vocal on socio-political issues, notably opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He has stated that while he supports the removal of illegal immigrants, he finds it impractical to expect all Indian citizens to prove their residence. He strongly advocates that terrorism has no religion.
